Scratch project

Hi everyone today I'm going to share with you my scratch and a reflection about it so here is the reflection:
What did you like about the task?
I liked that we got to learn something new and learn how to code amazing stuff and it doesn't take long to do.
What didn't you like about the task?
I liked all of it.
What was challenging about the task?
What I found challenging was that there were somethings that I didn't get.
Which 2 learning muscles did you use and how?

I used my noticing muscle when there was something wrong with my r but I fixed it so that it now is better then before. I also used my reasoning muscle when I didn't know how to fix the r but I got the hang of it so then I could go on to the next letter.

Jack and the beanstalk writing

Hi everyone today I'm going to share with you my writing for week 7 of term 3 and what we had to do was rewrite a fairy tale and for my fairy tale I choose Jack and the beanstalk I chose this one because in a production that I'm soon performing and I'm playing the role of Jack and it is a very important role to play so here is my plan and the real story of Jack and the beanstalk.

Jack and the beanstalk from another view plan:

• Jack doesn’t take anything from the Giant
• The giant is a Friendly person
• There is a big misunderstanding.
• There is another giant and he is real mad
• The problem is different to the other story.
• Jack and the Giant are friends.
• Jack comes to visit the Giant everyday because he is lonely all the time.

       The real story of Jack and the beanstalk for real.

Once upon a time there lived a boy named Jack. He was around the age of 10 - 12, a nice young man and all he wanted was a friend to play with.

One day, when Jack was out in the garden, playing by himself an old lady came up to him. She said “hello little boy, who are you playing with today?” “Well” Jack started then she rudely interrupted him and said “Look, can you please take these” she held out beans then said “in return of your snow white Cow, she is a beautiful one”.

      Jack looked confused, he asked “beans? why would we need beans? we already have some!” Jack was really confused. In the end Jack took the beans and said his last good bye’s to his only friend when he told his mum he traded a cow for beans she grabbed them from him and threw them outside.

     The next day Jack went outside and right in front of his eyes there was a great beanstalk. Jack was curious and decided to climb the stalk and see where it would lead. It lead to the KING OF THE CLOUDS he wasn’t a bad person although his son was, he wanted the throne all to himself. To do that he needed a plan his plan was to steal the golden harp and egg and if he was lucky maybe someone would climb up the beanstalk and then he will just blame it on them. The reason why he wanted revenge on his father is because his mother wasn’t a very nice person, and she doesn’t treat him right so she taught him the worst things in life and he didn’t like her not one bit  and from that day on he wanted revenge but he didn’t know how to do it. Now he finally has his chance.

When Jack climbed up to the castle and saw the giants and he was scared to death but when he least expected it the biggest giant of them all came up to him and said “ hello there how did you get up here? Why are you here? ? How did you get here oh well hi I am the biggest giant and ? you are …?” Jack was so excited to explore the place so he said “ WOW this place is so cool … Oh sorry my name is Jack what’s yours?” Jack didn’t even listen to the Giant and he just nodded his head and said

“nice name”  “you too”. The Giant son was so happy to see Jack that he ran full speed to greet Jack.

He was too late his father was already having so much fun with Jack and that gave him time to take the harp and he then went outside and said “guards get that boy he took my father’s most precious thing the golden harp!” Jack was so worried but the Giant said “but He can’t of he’s my friend he would never am I not right Jack … Jack … Jack” Jack had nothing to say but “ I would never do such thing like that cheek my bag if you must but I’m innocent I swear”

The Guards went over to his bag and cheeked it and then said “the boy is GUILTY” they then held out the magic harp and Jack said “WHAT I NEVER PUT THAT IN THERE” “ oh yeah then who did?!... Huh yeah thought so” the king said to everyone “it’s ok Jack did you really take the harp or not well it doesn’t matter at least we got it back but we will keep an eye on you though well back to playing”.

Later that day Jack had to go home so everyone said their goodbyes. The next day Jack came up again and this time the samething happend but this time instead of the harp it was the golden egg that was worth $1,000,000 and after that happened the King was furious with Jack and sent him to the dungeon and later that day the prince was celebrating and then at that moment the King walked into the room and saw him and then saw what he wrote down in his book and then he asked him “what do you have to say for yourself young man actually no save it for the dungeon that’s where you’ll be for the next couple of years and while you’re there tell the guards to release Jack and send him to me please”. Jack was thrilled to see the king so he said to him “Wanna play ball?” and can you guess what the answer to that question was? Well if you guessed that he said yes then you are right and they played everyday from then on.                        

                                    THE END

So that is what really happened did you know that? Or did you belief the other story (FAKE) ;)

Cold Poem

Hi there today I am going to show you my winter poem. In week 1 we had  a writing choice of three things and I chose to do the poem so here it is

It is cold.

Freezing  cold.

It is so freezing,

Birds freeze in trees,

Hot dog are Ice dogs,

People are running to their homes.

It is so cold,

No one is outside,

Bodybuilders are ice cubes

Lollies that lick themselves tongues get stuck,

And

The grass is on frost,

It is so cold,

Metal is now fully Ice,

while

Beaches are blank

As

The scorched toes of the tide ...

Matariki workshops

Hi there today I'm going to tell you about Matariki workshops so on matariki, you may be wondering what is Matariki well matariki is a Maori new year and we are celebrating it by doing different activity's that are traditional. I got to do two activity's they were cooking and waving I learnt how to make a head band out of big leaves that are special to us. here are some pictures of the day

• That day was too fun and I wish there was another one every day and before we did that we made flags of the five things that I want to improve on                 1. I want to improve on managing  my distractions.                                               2. I want to be nicer .                                 3.  I want to stay out of girl drama.             4. I want to finish my work on time .            5. I want to get better at writing .               6. I want to get to school on time because i'm always a bit late .

Hi there this is my quick write blog post  and this is a story of two girls who find a ticket but don't know what it is capable of ...

                                            THE LOST TICKET
Hi there today I'm not going to tell you the story ... just kidding I will ... well most of it I don't really know the real story but I'll tell you all I know so at school one day two girls were walking down the path one girl said to me "I can't belief that this is the end." " The end of what?" I asked " the end of the story" so that's all I'm going to tell you but there are somethings you might of missed ..................................... ha I got you again so this is the real story.

" wow that was a great ride.""NO it was not, not one tiny bit!" "yeah yeah yeah."Jessie and Kate are best friends they did everything together. "Can we go on the next ride" asked Kate, Jessie turned round in shock "NO" she said. As they were walking home Kate found a ticket lying on the ground she looked around to see if anyone would claim it but everyone didn't pay any attention to her, so she slowly picked up. "Jessie" she said "Come look at this", Jessie payed no attention and walked away. Kate ran to catch up with her she showed Jessie the thing and they both took a closer look at it and gasped it was a ticket that said, A ticket for two a ticket for three a ticket for you a ticket for me.


 The girls laughed and walked away with the ticket in their hands. later that night Kate's mum could hear them  saying unusual stuff but she didn't care "Jessie"said Kate "your talking in your sleep again ... Jessie." "Zzz ..." "yes she stopped" and just then " Zzz" "Arg."

 The next day the girls walked down a dark dark valley and then all of a sudden the ticket started to glow next minute the girls started to shrink and then they got puled down into a ............................................................... different world! "Wow there is lots of fun things here that we can do" said Jessie " Yeah but there is one problem though we aren't in our world were in the ticket!" So at that time they looked up and saw that someone picked up the ticket and put it in her bag.
"Well that is not good I wonder what this place is called?" asked Kate "wee" said a voice coming from their backs "you're in the land of fun also known as the fun fair world" out came a fury pink dog and after her a person came looking for them "ah there you are wow you look different than  I thought" she said.

 " Excuse me and who are you" said Kate "hello" said Jessie "oh excuse me where are my manners I am sprinkles and this is my dog cupcake, we are your tour guides and we are here to.." "I know I know you are here to take us around the place right?" said Kate "that and to tell you you're new name." " my new name! I'm Kate and that's that no questions asked" "yeah and me too except for the name is Kate part cause my name is Jessie duh." Then suddenly pop out they went "we're free we're free we're free" until the next day ..........

 I haven't yet finished the rest of the story

The day the bully stopped Once there was a girl a girl named Rose. She liked school, cheer leading and gymnastics, Just like Olivia. Olivia is 1 year older than Rose Olivia doesn't like school, She does like cheer leading and gymnastics though. She was always jealous of Rose and wanted to be the best cheerleader but she wasn’t Rose was. She was furious when she heard that, when she did she had to do something about it so that is what she did. One sunny morning at school Olivia said to Rose that “Coach told me to tell you that you are kicked of the team you know the team that meant lots to you.” Rose replied “Are you sure because I’m pretty sure that coach would tell me herself” “ Nope she told me to tell you.” Rose tried to keep her tears in but she couldn’t help herself so she ran never wanting to come back. In the afternoon team practice was on and Rose came to return her uniform but when she got there her coach said “why aren’t you in your uniform?.” She answered “I’m not on the team anymore don’t you remember! You are the one who kicked me of the team! Aren’t you?” Her coach looked confused and everyone turned to Olivia in frustration she started to explain “I didn’t mean to harm anyone.”but they all agreed that she did cause trouble and lots of terrible things. “I’m really sorry and I hope that we can be all good.” But that didn’t change what she did, although they did find it in their heart to forgive her for what she had done. And after that day she became a nicer person to everyone in the school, and every day she would say a big thank you to her coach and teachers for everything she has learned.
